SOMET Classroom
3D Environment

This project is a faithful recreation of my high school classroom, built entirely in 3D using Blender. The goal was to replicate the space as accurately as possible, with close attention to its layout, proportions, and the many details that define the environment.

I created a block out of the classroom using simple shapes, guided by reference photos and real-world measurements to establish accurate scale, proportions, and layout.

Then substituted the placeholder geometry for custom models, focusing on accurate forms and proportions before introducing textures or smaller details.

Materials, textures, and additional assets transformed the grey models into a recognizable classroom, introducing color and defining the overall look of the environment.

Lighting, atmosphere, artwork, and classroom decorations brought the space together, adding the smaller elements that complete the environment.

I introduced subtle imperfections by rearranging objects, adding wear, and including a hidden horror-inspired detail to make the environment feel less manufactured and more lived in.

Custom models such as this filing cabinet and name tag were built to match the classroom, bringing familiar elements into the environment.
Subtle details like beveled edges, labels, and hardware help each asset feel authentic without drawing attention to itself.
Consistent proportions and clean topology keep the models optimized while preserving the recognizable look of the classroom furniture.
Each prop was recreated from reference photos to capture the shapes, materials, and small details that define the space.
