The Medic is a gothic horror story set in the trenches of World War I. It Centers on a woman desperately trying to psychically connect with her husband, no matter the cost. The idea was sparked by our City's reputation as a seance hotspot during this period of time.

Written and directed by Jon Lê The Medic served as StudioLab xR’s entry for HTC Vive's Best Horror Shot competition. Competing against studios from around the world, The Medic stood out and claimed 1st place, showcasing the team's innovative use of virtual production and immersive storytelling.
Behind the scenes on The Medic, I operated Unreal Engine and the Vive Camtrack systems, ensuring smooth performance and precise tracking. Fast-paced production days like this test my problem-solving skills, requiring me to adapt quickly and troubleshoot on the fly. Effective communication and idea-sharing with the team were crucial to keeping the production on track and achieving our creative vision.
